Shine Cymru Calls on Assembly to take ACTION!
The Spina bifida • Hydrocephalus • Information • Networking • Equality - SHINE Cymru team work with individuals and families to ensure those with spina bifida and hydrocephalus has access to the right services, support and information to help manage the conditions and lead more fulfilling lives.
Now, Shine Cymru is urgently calling on the Welsh Assembly Government to take decisive action to ensure that awareness is raised about the need for women to start taking folic acid before they become pregnant, and thus protect thousands of future Welsh citizens from the loss of life and permanent disability that results from neural tube defects.
